Butterfinger Truffles (2023)

INGREDIENTS
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon + 1 teaspoon milk
1 ¼ cups heat treated all purpose flour
1 cup crushed Butterfinger bits
1 - 10 ounce bag milk chocolate melts
chocolate sprinkles
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy. Add the vanilla, salt, and milk and cream again.
2. Slowly beat in the flour until mixed in. Stir in the Butterfinger bits by hand.
3. Roll the dough into 36 truffles. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
4. Melt the chocolate melts according to the package directions. Use a toothpick to dip the truffles in the chocolate, making sure to cover the whole truffle.
5. Set on wax paper and top with chocolate sprinkles right away. Let set. Keep in a sealed container on the counter for 2-3 days. Refrigerate if they last longer.
