Croissant Loaf


3/4 cup of water
3 1/2 tbsp butter
1 1/3 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
5 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
4 cup flour
3 tsp yeast

Run your machine through the dough cycle and then remove the dough. Roll the dough into a ractangle and spread some butter on the dough, fold that section over and spread more butter on that side then fold over again, (like folding business letter). Wrap the folded dough in a clean dish towel and put in fridge for 15 minutes. Remove and knead it 4 or 5 times. Cut in half and place in two greased bread pans. Let rise and bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until golden. there should be flaky layers when you cut into the bread.

NOTE: This bread must be made in a 2 pound bread machine.
