Soft Sandwich Buns
1 1/4 cups milk 70-80 degrees
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp butter softened
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 tsp salt
3 3/4 cup bread flour
1 1/4 tsp yeast
1 tbsp butter, melted
In bread machine pan, place the first seven ingredients in the order suggested by manufacturer. Select dough setting (check the dough after 5 minutes of mixing. Add 1-3 tbsp water or flour if needed) When cycle is complete turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and punch down. Divide dough is half. roll each prtion to 3/4 inch tickness, cut with a 2 1/2 inch biscuit cutter. Place on lightly greased cooking sheets. Brush tops with melted butter. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled. About 1 hour. Backe at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly brown.
