3/4 cup creamy peanut butter 2/3 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup packed brown sugar 1 3/4 cup flour 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/3 cup milk 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips FROSTING 1/4 cup butter softened 1/4 cup baking cocoa 2 tablespoons milk 1 tablespoon light corn syrup 1 teaspon vanilla 1 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar 1/3 cup chocolate chips In a large mixing bowl, cream the peanut butter, butter and sugars. Beat eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour and baking powder; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Stir in chips. Spread in a greased 13-in x 9-inx2-in. baking pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centercomes out clean (do not overbake). Cool on a wire rack. For frosting, in a small mixing bowl combine the butter, cocoa, milk, cor syrup, and vanilla. Gradually add the confectioner's sugar; beat until smooth. Frost brownies. Sprinkle with chips. Cut into bars. |
