Old Fashioned Chocolate Pie


1 cup sugar
1/3 cup baking cocoa
1/4 cup flour
pinch salt
2 1/4 cups water
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 pastry shell, baked

In a large sauce pan, combine the sugar, cocoa, flour and salt. Gradually add water. Cook and stir over medium
heat until mixture comes to a boil. Cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened. Remove from heat; stir in butter and vanilla. Pour into pastry shell. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours before slicing. Garnish with whipping cream and chocolate sprinkle.
