Rice Almond Casserole

2 pounds ground beef
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 4 ounce cans mushrooms
2 cups boiling water
2 cups rice
4 cans Cream of Chicken Soup
2 cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 can Chicken and Rice Soup
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup slivered almonds
1/4 cup soy sauce

Brown beef, onions, celery, and green peppers. Add mushrooms, water, soy sauce and rice, Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Add soups and almonds. Mix well, place in large casserole. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Can be frozen for future use.

Note: Recipe can be cut in half. Instead of using the Chicken and Rice soup use a cup of chicken broth. I also don't put in the green pepper or almonds and it turns out fine,
