  Bacon Spaghetti Casserole
  7 oz. pkg. spaghetti, broken1/2 pound bacon, cut in 1" pieces
 1/2 cup chopped onions
 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
 1 28 oz. can whole tomatoes, undrained, cut up
 2 cups american cheese, shredded
 
 Heat oven to 325 degrees.  Cook spaghetti according to directions on the package, to desired doneness.  Drain and rinse with hot water.  Place in ugreased 2 quart casserole.  In large skillet, fry bacon until crisp.  Drain on paper towels.  Drain all but 1 tablespoon bacon drippings from the skillet.  Stir in onion and green pepper, cook intil crisp-tender.  Stir into spaghetti.  Add bacon,  tomatoes. amd 1 1\2 cup of cheese.  Mix well.  Bake at 325 degrees for 45-60 minutes or until bubbly and hot.  Top with remaining 1\2 cup cheese.  Bake 5 minutes or until melted.
 
 Note:  I add about a pound of  ground beef to the recipe.  I use fresh pasta instead of dried and cheddar cheese instead of American.  I don't put the green pepper in.
