Pizza Crust


3 1/2 cups flour
1 package yeast
1 cup warm water
2 tablespoons vegetable oil

In a large bowl combine 1 1/4 cups if the flour, yeast,1/4 teaspoon salt. Add warm water and oil. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, scraping bowl constantly. Beat on high speed 3 minutes. Using a spoon stir in as much of remaining flour as possible. Turn out on floured surface. Knead in enough flour to make a moderately stiff dough that is smooth and elastic (6-8 minutes). Divide in half, let rest 10 minutes.
Let rise 30-45 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Put toppings on. Bake 15-20 minutes more.
