Spicy Nacho Bake


1 lb ground beef
1 large onion chopped
1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (15 oz) hot chili beans
1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (11 oz) whole kernel corn, drained
1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
1 envelope taco seasoning
1 package (13 oz) spicy nacho tortilla chips
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

In a dutch oven or large skillt, cook the beef and onions over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in tomatoes, beans, corn, tomato sauce and taco seasoning. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 30 minutes (mixture will be thin.

In 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish layer chips and meat mixture. Repeat layers. Top each with chips and cheese. Bake uncovered at 359 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
