Super Nacho Appetizer


1/2 lb chorizo
1/2 lb ground beef
2 cans (16 oz each) refried beans
1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chilies
3 cups (12 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup bottled taco sauce

In a large skillet cook beef and chorizo over medium heat until no longer pink; drain well. In a greased 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish, layer the meat mixture, refried beans, chilies, cheese and taco sauce. Bake uncovered, at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

Serve with corn chips and tour choice of garnishes.

Note: I wasn't able to get chorizo so I used spicy Italian and it worked fine.
