1 to 2 pounds stew beef, cut in 1/2 inch cubes
1 cup thick and chunky salsa
1 envelope burrito or taco seasoning mixture
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 onion, sliced
shredded cheese, optional
Combine all ingredients in the crockpot; cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours, or on high for 4 to 5 hours. Serve over hot cooked rice and sprinkle with cheese, or serve with warm tortillas.
